We didn’t choose Nyksund as the location for our Experience Center by chance.

Nyksund is a remote yet well-connected village. With several guesthouses, cafés, and restaurants – and a few activity-based businesses – it offers everything needed for a memorable stay. The famous Dronningruta hiking trail starts here, and the surrounding area is home to several nature reserves and an impressive diversity of plants – ideal for our excursions.

The history of Nyksund reflects not only the story of Vesterålen but also that of Northern Norway as a whole. What better place to build a center where we can share the culture and daily life of the region – past and present – with curious visitors?

For multi-day courses, Nyksund provides the perfect setting for relaxation and hands-on learning.
